There was a time when Paternity tests were not needed
For years and years we went without Paternity testing. If someone was raising you and loved you and you were told they were your father they were. There was no questioning because there was no way to prove it one way or the other. As time has passed we have developed Paternity Testing. Paternity Testing is a way to prove if someone is biologically related to someone else. They use DNA to make a determination if someone is or is not someone else’s child.
It is scary that every day there are talk shows that show nothing but DNA results. There are enough people in this world that do not know who the father of their children are to make hour long shows five days a week. There are also men contributing to these shows. They run around having sex with different women and then say they are not the father of their children. It is very saddening. It is amazing that we as society are now understanding and accepting of this practice. These poor children are told any slew of men are their fathers just to find out they are not. It is going to only hurt the children in the long run. We need to come back to our roots and remember a time when promiscuity was frowned upon. There was a time when people were abstinent and only slept with one person. There was no need for DNA tests because there was no question as to who the father was. Soon we will all be related and there will be no differences between us. The DNA tests are just going to show that everyone is related because no one is staying monogamous. Society needs to wake up and draw a line in the sand and say that this is not acceptable behavior.
